MSGNA Conferences Provide Updated Information Related to Various Gastrointestinal topics, Opportunity to Dialogue with Colleagues, and Interact with Vendors.
Continuing Education Hours:
6.0 Contact Hours for continuing education have been approved through the MSGNA, Provider #182, which is an approved provider of continuing education in nursing by the Iowa Board of Nursing. Participants must attend the entire conference for continuing education award.
GI specific contact hours have been applied for through the American Board of Certification for Gastroenterology Nurse (ABCGN for purposes of recertification by contact hours through the ABCGN.
Registration Refund and Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your registration for the conference, please notify the event coordinator ASAP. In the event of a weather-related event, cancellations will be posted on the website and Facebook and each attendee will be refunded their registration fee.

The Midwest Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates will be holding its Fall Regional Educational Conference on Saturday, September, 28 2024 at the Adult Learning Center, Hawkeye Community College, 120 Jefferson St, Waterloo, IA 50701 from 7:30a.m. to 3:30 pm. Tables for exhibits will be available in a separate space that will be located just outside the conference room from where the conference will be held. Vendors from various pharmaceutical companies are invited to display their exhibits. Each vendor will be given their own display table, chair, and invited to eat lunch. Notice of this conference will be sent to the nursing personnel employed in gastroenterology within our regional division, which includes Nebraska, Iowa, and South Dakota, and will be posted on the MSGNA website, SGNA Communities pages, as well as social media pages. Benefits include having your company recognized in our Program printouts, interacting with attendees at 3 designated times before the conference begins, break, and over the lunch hour. We estimate 50 people in attendance for this conference. At this time, no virtual options will be available. All attendees will be given a card that needs to be signed by each vendor in order to be elidable for a door prize.
One of the goals of the MSGNA is to share information and encourage certification in gastroenterology. We are inviting any manufacturer or distributor of endoscopic or gastrointestinal related products to exhibit at our conference. In order to organize space, we encourage you to return the enclosed application as soon as possible if you would like to participate.
